SR Mecatronic Srl attaches fundamental importance to protecting the personal data of Users of the website (hereinafter “Site”), of its own and/or potential customers and of the parties with whom it has, for various reasons, a contractual relationship. Therefore, through this Policy, provided pursuant to Article 13, EU Regulation 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation), SR Mecatronic Srl intends to share its policy regarding the processing of personal data.

1) Types of data processed by SR Mecatronic Srl

      1. Browsing data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate the Site acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols (internet domain and IP protocol, type of browser and operating system of the computer used, date, time and length of stay on the site, pages viewed, any search engine through which the site was entered). Such information is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects; however, due to its very nature it could allow users to be identified through processing and association with data held by third parties.

This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by the Users who connect to the Site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) ​​addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numeric code indicating the response status given by the server (good end error etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the user’s computer environment. This data is only used to obtain anonymous statistical information on use of the Site and will be deleted immediately after processing, without prejudice to the Judicial Authority’s need to investigate crimes.

Contact requests from Users

In order to validly forward a request for information/estimates to SR Mecatronic Srl, through the contact form on the Site, the User will be asked to enter some information, falling into the category of common personal data (name and contact details). SR Mecatronic Srl asks the User, as of now, to refrain from providing “particular categories of data” which are not necessary for requesting information/estimate formulation from the Data Controller.

Processing of customer and supplier data

The Data Controller ensures that the data of its own and potential customers, suppliers and partners, as well as the personal data of candidates for job offers at SR Mecatronic Srl, is processed in full compliance with current legislation on personal data protection.

2) Purpose of processing, legal basis and retention period

The personal data acquired by SR Mecatronic Srl will be processed by personnel expressly authorised and appointed by the Data Controller, in compliance with the principles of correctness, lawfulness, transparency, protection of privacy and the rights of the data subject. SR Mecatronic Srl will process the data subject’s data for the duration strictly necessary for the purposes of the processing, in full compliance with the retention obligations established by law.

Personal data provided by Users pursuant to Article 6 paragraph 1 letter a), EU Regulation 2016/679, will be processed by the Data Controller in order to:

  • deal with requests for quotes/information. The provision of such data is optional, but necessary in order to allow the Data Controller to deal with requests made by the User.

  • direct marketing purposes: with the User’s express consent (Article 6 paragraph 1 letter a, EU Regulation 2016/679), SR Mecatronic Srl will send the User communications with promotional/commercial content using the email address they provide. Consent to the processing of data for marketing purposes is optional and revocable, at any time, by contacting the Data Controller at the addresses indicated in the following Article 3). The processing of data for marketing purposes will have a duration proportionate to pursuing the purposes underlying the processing.

If, following the request for information/estimates, a contractual relationship is established with SR Mecatronic Srl, the data of the customer/supplier, if included in the category of “data subject”, as well as the data, of an essentially identifying nature, of their own collaborators, employees and contacts, will be collected and processed pursuant to Article 6 paragraph 1 letter b), EU Regulation 2016/679, for the execution of pre-contractual measures, for the purposes of executing the contract and for managing the contractual relationship. The provision of data by customers and suppliers is obligatory, therefore omitted, incorrect or partial communication of data could make it impossible to conclude the negotiation agreement. Customer and supplier data will be stored for 10 years after conclusion of the contractual relationship and subsequently deleted from SR Mecatronic Srl’s information systems.

Personal data will be processed at the Data Controller’s offices, using computer/electronic or paper means, ensuring the use of adequate technical and organisational security measures, pursuant to and for the purposes of Article 32, EU Regulation 2016/679, suitable for reducing the risk of destruction, loss, unauthorised access or processing of personal data that is not permitted or in any case not in compliance with the purposes of the related collection.

3) Data Controller

The Data Controller is SR Mecatronic SRL, represented by its legal representative pro tempore, with registered office in Alto Reno Terme (BO), Via Aldo Moro No. 1-3, VAT No. 03206011201.

4) Scope of data communication

The personal data provided by data subjects may be communicated to public, institutional or professional parties authorised by law to request its acquisition as well as, exclusively for the purposes set forth in Article 2), to commercial agents, authorised resellers, third-party companies or professionals of which SR Mecatronic Srl avails itself in performing its business activities such as, by way of example and not limited to, commercial agents, authorised resellers, accounting and tax consultants, legal and sector consultants, auditing companies, third-party IT supply and assistance companies, and banking institutions. It is specified that such “third parties”, if they do not act as Data Controllers, in accordance with the provisions of Article 28, EU Regulation 2016/679, occupy the role of Data Processors, and consequently observe, by virtue of a specific contractual agreement, the security standards regarding the processing of the data communicated to them. The list of third parties is available on express request, sent to SR Mecatronic Srl at the addresses indicated at the bottom of this privacy policy.

5) Cookies

Cookies are short text strings (usually in .txt or .xml format) sent by a web server to the User’s browser, stored by the latter on the browsing device and automatically re-sent to the server during the same visit to the site (session cookies) or at the next access (persistent cookies). Cookies make it possible to store information about visitors’ preferences in order to improve the site’s functionality and simplify browsing, automating procedures (e.g. login, site language).

Based on the characteristics and use of cookies, it is possible to distinguish between:

Technical cookies (session and browsing): they are used for the sole purpose of “transmitting a communication over an electronic communication network, or as strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or by the user to provide this service”. The aforementioned cookies do not collect any of the User’s personal information, are necessary for the Site’s correct operation, and function to ensure normal browsing and use. Disabling these cookies may compromise access to the Site’s content;

Analytics cookies: these are assimilated to technical cookies when used directly by the Site manager to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site, in order to improve its performance;

Functionality cookies: allow the User to browse according to a series of selected criteria, in order to improve the service they receive;

Flash cookies (or local Share Objects): allow the Data Controller to know the frequency with which a type of audio or video file is opened and the time spent listening/viewing the file itself;
